My kids really enjoyed this! Ages 7 and 9. Personally I found if I viewed it from their perspective it was OK. As an adult I would use the DVD of this movie as a beverage coaster.

You gotta ask yourself when you watch something like this; Did they actually think it was good while they made it? I don't think it's supposed to be a comedy, but I caught myself laughing alot.

Maybe a reason why kids may like this crap is because there is another version loosely based off the original story of "Journey to the West" that is a lot more popular in the US...it's called Dragonball. Also be on the lookout for another version of this movie to come out sometime soon, but this time it stars Jackie Chan and Jet Li. I think it's called "Forbidden Kingdom".
