What the hell happened at the end?

Could somebody please tell me what happened? Was Bard's sister the killer?
Wasn't she the blonde girl in the wheelchair? I did not understand

SPOILER ALERT

well it's quite simple really. this film is playing out the "mistaken identity" thing.

You know enough background of her when you see her in the wheelchair to know that she could turn out evil as well, especially with these rapes happening to her added to the history... But the fact that she can still walk (when she wants) is left open. Probably it's an allusion to the title "abscence of the good". Maybe it's that complete abscence that makes her kick in and is all that's left..

personally: when you first see her in the wheelchair I already was thinking that it was going to be her specially when you see the next murder with the family at the table, when the food is cooked and all..

and just a while befor the end you see that friend of hers who is really looking for caleb...

I thought this was a nice little movie to be watched inbetween the big ones :)

Actually, I believe that cosmicmania is mistaken.

The girl at the end who attacks Caleb was indeed Bard's sister, but she was NOT the girl in the wheelchair. The friend of the wheelchair girl was lying when she told Caleb the girl in the wheelchair was Bard's sister. In fact, the friend herself was the sister. At the very end, you can clearly see her when she stands up just before Caleb's wife shoots her and you can tell she has very dark brown hair, just like the friend and even has the small cleft in her chin... like the friend. In other words, Bard's sister stole her friend's name to avoid having to answer a lot of tricky questions!

Just thought I'd clear that one up!
