5/02/2007 Update

Nina Keogh (aka, Muffy Mouse) has been outspoken for years that she would like a DVD to happen. Just recently, Jeff Hyslop (aka, Jeff the mannequin) has also voiced his opinion that he would love this to happen. I have also received word that things MAY be happening at TVO in regards to this, but nothing for sure.

I don't know if anyone has posted this link or not, but it has a video of the intro of Today's Special on it. Warning: the song will get stuck in your head!!

Still as entertaining as it was when I was a kid.

If the Electric Company can get a DVD, then so can this show.

"Today's Special"- by far the most deserving show to have DVD sets that has not yet had any. Not even any serious signs of that happening, even though just about every other show has at least DVD releases. The companies who would be involved don't even seem to be interested despite the profits it can bring. I know kids today would love it, too. Most children and family series from the 80s just stood the test of time much more than afterwards. They also, and TS was a prime example of this, brought families together instead of segregating the generations, which so many shows now do. Barney, Teletubbies and Spongebob frankly all make me want to gag, and if I had to watch that sort of stuff, I would probably bang my head against a wall. I am sure this is the case for just about anyone over the age of 6.
