I too remember!

I too remember this show and of course, like many of you guys, I thought I was alone in that because NO ONE ELSE remembered the show. And it's so random because I only remember bits and pieces of it. But I must have watched the reruns on Nickelodeon because I remember watching it in library in second grade cuz they would let us watch Nick sometimes if we finished our reading. And that was in like 1989. Anyway, I loved the show, it never scared me, although I see how it could. I remember an episode when sam the security guard wanted to show Jeff what snow was and so he saved some in a can and when he went to open the can, it was just water, and he was sad because his snow melted. And I remember "Hocus Pocus Alimigocus" and them riding an elevator and Jodie wore pink and had an afro and Jeff wore redish grey plaid and his hat was plaid and he had brown curly hair. That's about it, but it was enough for me to find it! Yay!

I think i remember this show from PBS but i couldnt' be sure of that...it just seems that when it was running and when i was that age, we didn't yet have cable. I have yet to find anyone in person except my family who has heard of this show and like others here, all i remember were bits and pieces and especially the mannequin guy. This site is great and even has video and stuff about the show.

It might have been Nickelodeon because that's where I watched it along with 'You Can't Do That On Television' (which I believe was also a show from Ontario). Today's Special was my favorite along with Pinwheel when I was growing up.

I was born in 1978, so I saw all the greats:

Pinwheel, You Can't Do that On Television, Today's Special, Kids Incorporated, The Smurfs, The Shirt Tales, The Real Ghostbusters, and my absolute favorite show - The Gummi Bears!

Also should mention the cartoon shows on the 'Saturday Supercade: Q-Bert, Donkey Kong, Frogger, and Pitfall Harry.

When I got older (late 80s and early 90s) it was Duck Tales, Tale Spin, Darkwing Duck, Tiny Toons, and Animaniacs.

After the cartoons were gone, I was left with the Saturday TV shows of California Dreams and Saved By The Bell (which to be fair was on for a good while and ran successfully too).

We had it good and now its gone for good - for the most part. Bummer.

They need to bring just about all of these shows back for the DVD generation (Saved By The Bell was saved...but what of the rest?).

No one I have ever talked to remembers this show. I was beginning to think I had just dreamed it up. I'm glad to see that I wasn't crazy. I loved this show as a kid. I thought Jeff was the coolest when I was little. Lots of good memories have come flooding back into my mind. Wow.

This was the best show ever! I remember watching this when I was in pre-school, it was one of my favorites! I used to think that the manequin was cute. Is that weird? Oh, well, this was a great show!

I remember back in those days they used to show a few British cartoons such as "Danger Mouse", "Banana Man", and "Count Duckula". Does anyone else remember those? There was also a show called "Mr. Wizard", where an older man would do science experiments.

I do agree that Nick isn't as good as it used to be, and I don't think it's just because I'm older. Spongebob is just about the only thing that Nick has going for it right now, and even that has lost some steam. It's the same with the Disney Channel; they don't even show classic Disney cartoons anymore (and without those, the Disney Channel wouldn't even exist.)

I LOVED this show and I swear NO ONE else remembers it, except my sister who I tortured by making her watch it with me. I can still sing the Theme Song! I was never scared of the show but I rmember feeling very sad that Jeff couldn't leave the store when he really wanted to see the world.

This was a great show, I was so sad when it wasn't on anymore...
