Very weak movie that I wouldn't call horror at all

This is not a horror movie, there is no graphic violence, no blood and no creepy atmosphere.
This movie is just bad example of sexploitation, and it has some scenes with half naked women in rape situations, but it's all so stupid. I am always glad to see some old B-horror whith no limits of bad taste and gruesome violence, but this is not it.
This is definitely not "I spit on your grave", far from it.

This movie is going to be released on DVD this month, but the cover and comments on it are deception. Hell, they are not even schoolgirls. Seriously, the only shocking thing in this movie is the stupidity of some characters.

Very disappointing watching it today. Some old low budget exploitations will stay classics, but Schoolgirls in Chains is not one of them. Don't be fooled into bying the DVD, rent it first to see if you like it.

I didn't. The movie doesn't provide the kind of experience it pretends to.

Thanks for the honest critique. I was always skeptical about this movie when I was collecting bootleg Grindhouse obscurities on DVD two years ago. I guess I'll stick with my intuition and give it a pass. I'll probably rent it on Netflix though just to say I saw it and that's it.

Peace!

Yes, this movie is absolutely horrible. There isn't one redeeming quality about this movie.I seriously think this might be the worst movie that I have ever seen. Def. not for fans of Ilsa or I Spit On Your Grave. Everything from the opening credits and horrible music to the acting, to the lack of violence or anything even remotely sexual make this movie pure garbage. I would rather stand in a ring with Brock Lesnar for an hour than have to watch one second of this POS ever again.

I dont consider a lack of violence as making a movie "bad" or "non-horror". In the 70s, it was no sin to understate things. Today, it is a sin not to splay forth everything.

No offense, just a difference of opinion.

I also wonder why this movie is classified as a horror film when there is absolutely no horror in it at all. It's about 2 brothers with serious mental issues who abduct girls and lock them up in a cellar for their twisted games.

No violence ever occurs and the "torture" is purely psychological. You never feel like the girls are in genuine peril so that takes away any care factor you might have for them..

I found this movie utterly boring and painful to watch. I will give some props to the actors who portrayed the brothers particularly the younger one. He was good at being creepy.
