I just got done watching this movie. I watched it because Jessica Alba
was in it and she is ridiculously gorgeous. I just broke up with my girlfriend and watching Jessica Alba's work always cheers me up some. I read about the movie on this website and was expecting the worst. However, I was very pleasantly surprised that it turned out to be pretty solid. It is definitely not a feel good, happy movie, but in my opinion it is pretty good. The acting seemed fine to me. The plot is creepy because stuff like that probably does really happen.

I second that. It's an average thriller worth while if you are in the right mood. I don't understand why people hate it so much. I give it a seven out of ten.

disregard all the negative comments made about this fine piece of film. It is a but slow because it takes its time to build its drama. Films with villains who live among the everyday and depicted that way always do. The film does not make the English look bad. It makes the director who directed the English actors in it look good. There simple-mindedness is a juxtaposition to the horror of the story. It is done to good affect.

Ms. Tripplehorn's body is put to very good use. She embodies her character's mental state. A special treat not mentioned here-in is the horror that takes place does so among friends and family. Finally, I must mention the setting. The home of the villan is an old hotel. Well no guess where that came from. Norman Bates....But it is a sweet dilapidated old looking sort of place. The sort of place, you just might feel safe in. But then again thats the whole of the story. We are never quite sure of our safty.

what everyone wrote makes me feel like part of the family. Its great to read others that admire jessica'a beauty and talent and beauty and beauty. Anyhow, for being a low LOW budget movie it was very good. Never once bored with the movie and of course my girlfriend did an excellant job. For all those people who thinks this movie was a waste of time, try checking out the movie "Elapant". That movie is 82 minutes i can never get back. Thanks to all my peeps for backing me up

What, have you guys watched, like, 3 movies in your life? This movie was ATROCIOUS. Stupid plot, boring direction, and not one actor did a decent job. Jessica Alba may be hot, but so are a bazillion other girls out there. She's much better in a movie like "Sin City" where she doesn't have to do much other than wiggle around in minimal clothing. Once she opens her mouth, it's all over - I can't think of a worse actress out there. If you enjoyed this mess because of her, well, that's just sad.

come on, enjoying a film because of one actor/actress is just silly, or clutching at straws that *maybe* one day she will fall in love with you. get a life. ive just watched this and thought it was pretty crap. but it cheered me up bunches because jessica was in it... (sarcasm in case that wasnt detected). shes obviously very attractive, and i'm not saying that she is a poor actress, because i dont believe that. but this film was generally awful. its like saying barb wire was good because pamela anderson was in it, or herbie for lindsay lohan, or crossroads for britney spears and the list goes on

I'd just like to point out that Jessica Alba IS, in fact, a very talented actress who is judged and put down by the likes of people who believe that "pretty people" don't make good actors (some from feeling less of themselves when seeing a far better looking person than they are!). If you have ever seen some of the better senarios that Jessica Alba has been put in (i.e. Dark Angel) then you'd notice that there is some talent that the likes of some may NEVER reach.

PS: If I see people dissing Jessica Alba like this again... I WILL write back with a serious vengence!

i watched and i though i was going to be a bit crap the first 30 mins i was like is it going be boring but when she is left behind it really picks up and some of the sceanes are really well shot and jessica alba is the most beautiful women in the world

This movie is a disgrace to all of england. It makes england look like we make the most retarded films ever and the people of england are psycho freak stalkers and rapisist. Worst of all the dumb model bitch couldnt understand a *beep* word ANYONE said. I mean come on its not like were talking spanish (lol) is the english accent so retarded that no one can understand us and are so disgusted at our sarcasm it makes them sick to their stomach to be in england.

this movie sucked way bad... and to stress that its budget and the fact alba isnt a plausible top model. Too short and too much junk in the trunk.

i liked this movie to i watched it with my sister and i liked it but she said it was ok but WAY too slow but shes more into chick-flicks but i feel like watching it again...im so happy that i own it :)

I am totally on your side. This movie was not bad. I to saw it because jessic alba was in it and she is hot. I do think after watching the movie, it is kind of ironic that people are seeing this movie for Jessica alba and the movie is about a model played by Jessica Alba who has stalkers. I have also been a fan of Jessica Alba since Dark Angel. I even went out with a girl because she reminded me of how jessica alba looked. I was only in like 8th grade then... I think that most of these people who didn't like the movie were either too dumb to fallow the plot or were not immersed because they were to busy criticizing the movie to watch it. Poeple need to just take a movie for what it is. Stop picking it apart like you could do better.

Yep, not such a bad movie at all. Like most on here I watched it because Jess is in it and fancied a bit of thoughtless eye candy. Turns out to be a pretty good film, although I must say I agree with the negs on here as well though, Jess is not the best actress in the world, particularly in this film.

3.8/10 is a ridiculous score, should be at least a 5.6/10.

This movie had some pacing and direction problems, but it maintained my attention nonetheless. It's interesting how much better the performances were from the British unknowns (at least to me) than the American stars.

I hate when people automatically vote 1 when they don't like something. There are many worse films than this; many better ones too. I gave it a 6/10.
