did anyone who went to the premire get to see the preview of the american idiot documenary? did it give any info about it?

shareYeah they showed it at the premiere in LA. It just showed them like softly practicing Jesus Of Suburbia for like a minute and then it showed Billie Joe going "1...2...3...4" and then the actual Jesus of Suburbia track started playing but it was still showing them practicing it and then ever so often it would show these weird dance sequences that looked like they were pulled out of some kind of '20s movie and then it would switch back to showing them playing and back and forth and it was sorta like a music video with the actual song dubbed over them practicing the song in the dance studio and the occasional dancers.
After Live Freaky Die Freaky, Mike Dirnt and John Roecker came down for a Q&A and they said that the Documentary would be three hours and there would be a music video thing (like what they did with Jesus Of Suburbia) for every song.

Apparently. They were due to start filming nowish in Berkely but I think it's been moved to next year coz theres not been a lot of news about it. There was an interview in Rolling Stone with Green Day this year and I'm sure thats what they said.

yeah, i read on greendayauthority that its gonna be released nov 15. its called bullet in a bible and is basically a live concert

They drove around The Bay Area for a day and mentioned that American Idiot: The Motion Picture's gonna be shot in the Oakland area (as that's where B imagined it would be - ''It was inspired by this place and will be set here") EARLY NEXT YEAR (!!!) So that's 3 releases; B in a B, The Doco and THE MOVIE!!! (im gonna be in LA in Jan. YAY!)
