Where can I get this movie?

I wish i can see this film i think it would be absolutly amazing and to make it even better it has loads of musisians (i think i spelt that wrong but oh well) Like Billie Joe, Mike Dirnt and Tre Cool ( I absolutly LOVE LOVE LOVE Green Day)
but the only thing is that i dont think my family has a credit card to get it from the internet and i dont think video stores would sell it by what i've read about it I'm 13 too Im turning 14 in November I cant wait to see this movie and I love the song Mechanical Man it's like my favourite song its sooo damn cool

Although I could've done without seeing the "inapropriate" scenes, all in all it was very funny. I've never seen anything like it.

While I agree that people are offended by this movie unnecessarily, I do wonder about something. Is this movie your only experience learning about Manson? If so I suggest you read Helter Skelter, or at least rent the newer version of the movie (I think it was an improvement personally).


The fact of the matter was, Manson did have a few things right. He made points that made a lot of sense. But this movie doesn't show nearly the whole story. The point of the movie is that the Nomad misinturprets the book as showing Manson as a savior basically. So the film, as a result, shows Manson in a posative light, not condoning what he did, but simply showing that you shouldn't have blind faith.


In other words. Charlie was a screwed up, damaged individual, who's words still held some truth. But this movie alone doesn't show that, and I really advise you look at the deeper aspects of Charlie as a person.


oh, and this is to the green day fan. I don't advise you see this movie without first knowing the history of it. I give you the same advice as the above person, read or rent Helter Skelter, it's the book written by one of Tre's two characters' real life counterpart. Believe me, I'm a Green Day fan too, but they are not at all why I saw this movie. It's an interest in the manson family that made me watch it. I know you say it looks interesting plus the bands, but I warn you not to watch it just because of Green Day.

Or maybe people interested in environmentalism would rather be inspired by someone who isn't a homicidal maniac. The movie isn't genius, it was ambitious. There's a difference.
