I am really anxious to see if someone knows whether or not this re-release is gonna hit any other theatres in Canada, or any where else in the world. I am a huge fanatic of the big G! I wouldn't count on Godzilla being re-released on VHS. More and more movies are becoming DVD exclusive nowadays. I'm not too sure if they'd re-release it on DVD either, since it can still be found in stores. I got one in the cheapo 5 dollar section in a Best Buy today...
shareI just saw it tonight. Personally, I think the special effects are more artfully done in the black and white original are much better than in the color sequel... the technological aspects were certainly lacking, but the creators compensated with artistic photography and a rather elegant human storyline, with some subtle (and yes, intentional) humor.
