3rd version of Godzilla

Recently I bought a VHS which date of 1983 of the movie Godzilla of 1954 dubbed in French (i'm french it's normal for me) I compare this version with american version, THE MOVIES ARE DIFFERENTS, not completly american version and not completly the original japanese version.
First of all: the title in French it's only "Godzilla" nothing more.
The movie begins the same way than the original and Steve Martin appears after the 1st ship is destroyed, there is no scene in japanese all is dubbed, the reference to the radiation and the experiment of the bomb H are in it,there is few text of explication of Steve Martin, the dilemma of Serizawa is complete,in the end Steve Martin is not on the ship which go to destroy Godzilla and the prediction of Dr Yamane about an other possibility of a Godzilla is in this version and the movie hasn't got the message of Steve Martin about the world wake up again.
I was very surprised, the film is very better and less stupid with the american version with its characters who talk english or japanese.
