What did you rate 'Godzilla, King of the Monsters!' (1956)?

The Japanese film Gojira (1954) is edited with American footage to create this 1956 version of the first Godzilla movie. Raymond Burr plays Steve Martin, a foreign reporter in Tokyo who stumbles onto the story of a lifetime. I haven't seen Gojira, but there seems to be an interesting movie hidden within this shoddy flick. Godzilla proves to be pretty scary in black-and-white. Takashi Shimura, a frequent star of Kurosawa films, appears in the original footage.
