Please help if can!!!
I just turned 40 this month, have been reflecting on my life alot recently as such, and most things I can recall. And I do remember the Godzilla movies, and loved watching them in the 1970s and 1980s (as child and teenager). But there was another Japaneese made monster series I also watched in the late 1970s for a few months, which played out rather like a seriel, but had an evil alien named Narwic who was trying to conquer Earth while based in his spaceship. His troops were Lugo Men, and he created and unleashed a new and different monster nearly every episode on Earth. The head character was a Japanesse boy named Meeko, who had met a good guy giant gold robot named Goldare in the first episode. He took him to his hideaway, where he met his wife (a human looking woman named Silvare), and their leader, an old man named Matthewsam (sorry about my spelling, it is as bad now as it was in elementary school when I watched this show). they were infatuated by Meeko, so Matthewsam instantly ranted them their own son, a Japanesse looking boy named Gam (basically like Meeko, but with a space helment). And they gave Meeko a whistle before he returned to Japan, to call them if necessary against Narwic's forces (blowing once for Gam, twice for Silvare, three times for Goldare). And the series then continued just like this for a few months, and though it seems a little silly writing this now, I regularly watched and loved it. It had nothing to do with Godzilla, except being Japaneese and with monsters, but was likely made by the same people. But I cannot remember its title, and could not in the mid 1980s when thought of it. If anyone remembers what I am talking about here, and does remember this series' title, please tell me as soon as possible, I'd like to go on its IMDB site/board.
