Plagiarism

Not seen the whole film but I've just turned the TV on in time to see
That pink female french poodle (name?) singing a song in an alley with
a bunch of cats.

The songs absolutely reeked of plagiarism from Scar's "Be Prepared"
song from the Lion King. Both the music (the style has been
Frenchified), the singing, and the choreography. The bloody poodle even
looks the spitting image of Scar. This really annoyed me, do me a
favour and watch both sequences.

WHAT?!
Madame Moussée's "Creature de la Nuit" might have a FEW things in common with "Be Prepared," but there is absolutely NOTHING between the two songs that suggests plagiarism! I know both sequences by heart. Moussée and Scar look nothing alike, aside from both having delightfully wicked villainous expressions. (A Miniature Poodle and a lion? O.o) No lines from the songs or anything about the performances are remotely similar enough to speak of plagiarism. Certainly the two songs can be compared in their purposes in each film and in other ways, yes, fine. But I can see no reason to accuse one of copying the other.

Seriously..that was some pretty darn nice racing out there. BY ME!
