Freaked Out.

Please someone. I want this one badly and the film from 2000 too. Preferably on DVD with English subtitles. I have seen half of the 2000 film and I really freaked out on it. Someone must be able to feed my hunger.

Thanks for your answer.

I have found a DVD of the film "A Dog's Will" (2000) at a running length of 104 minutes, where the mini-series (1999), 157 minutes long, is included as a bonus.
However, the film has English subtitles, but the series has none.
I am happy that I found the film, but it would be nice to have English subtitles for the mini-series also.

It's released by Sony Pictures 2007, as a 2DVD, NTSC in region 4.
I guess that means Brazil.
I bought the DVD from a private seller at amazon.com

Everything is great, except that I don't understand Portuguese.

It would be very nice If you could help me with that.
Subtitling, not learning Portuguese of course!

All the best

You should watch the mini-series. The movie is heavily cut, and the transfer is just awful (for the movie).

I hope one day they release this thing in Blu-ray (if possible, but I don't have any hope since we are talking about Brazil).

Unfortunately there are no subtitles for the mini-series, which will make very hard for non-portuguese speakers to understand most of what is being said.

And even if you watch the movie and read the subtitles, you should be aware that subtitles cannot explain (or make you understand) the slangs used in Brazil (in this case, from the Northeast Region). For example, someone from Portugal would also have a hard time understanding this.

Nonetheless, despite this, it's a great show, well done and that I also have in my collection (and even though I am brazilian, I don't usually watch movies from here (or buy), but in this case I made an exception).

I found the film both enchanting and expressive.

Some day I think I'll first watch the film again with subtitles, and then put on the mini-series while I still have the plot clear in memory. That will probably give me some kind of cinematic sensation, perhaps enough! We'll see.

It is different and certainly not to everyone's taste.

Thanks for your answer, anyway.
