For what he did to uncle Bully? Just noticed there are sirens of arriving police/EMT in the end of OWW.
Maybe it was considered justifiable. I know if I was on a jury, I'd vote to aquit for something like that, given the circumstances!!!
I doubt it, it was never hinted upon in WBOTBH atall, so he prolly didn't.

he went to prison, its set a few years later than the first movie and follows closer to the book than once were warroirs did, thats why they pick up an extra son in this one, they left him out in once were warriors for some reason probably budgeting

One buddy there clearly tells Bully "Bully you IDIOT!!!" or something like that, while Bully is still bloddy on the floor.
So EVERYONE knew what was that about (the wife accused him in front of everybody of raping her daughter). Thus NOBODY cooperated, especially Bully (if he pressed charges, he would surely open himself to be accused of rape).
Thus he, and everybody else, said "He fell..."
Jake seemed pretty well-liked in those places, people even stopped Bully from running away, without knowing exactly what was going on - they let Jake catch Bully. It's a local dive, where fights happen all the time, and it seems most Maori don't talk to the white police. I'm just basing all that on what's seen in OWW, Beth not liking the cops and all the fights where Jake's cheered on. But someone did call the police, though they could've called an ambulance and the police would just follow due to the damages maybe described for the ambulance people, of Bully stabbed and stomped pretty badly.
I don't think Jake went to prison, but maybe picked up shortly from all the blood on his hands.
Real life ain't as dope as the movies.
