That court was stupid if they didn't notice that......

Cashmire"s car was a convertible while Broadway's car was a hardtop.they even had pictures of Broadway's car and there were witnesses where the woman was shot so why did they even bother pulling over Avery and his boys?

reply

...mmm
maybe it was a hardtop that was detachable.

I maybe wrong cuz I was half ass watching. But didn't the shooting happen (which would of been on a security camera with the time) at the same time he was swimming with respectable witnesses?

reply

he wasnt swimming with him. he was at the swim meet. (i believe thats what its called)
he arrived a bit afterward, then left because they were being loud.

No...what I'm saying is...The shooting happened at a fast food joint...there would be security camera's that captured the time. From my understanding of the movie..the shooting happened at the same time he was at the swim meet. So all they had to do is go "OH it happened at 9:30.....it couldn't of been me..I WAS WINNING THE *beep* SWIM MEET!!!!"

Luckily this is a movie because I was wondering the same thing. Its like they just pulled over any 3 black guys and didn't even bother to see if it was really them or not or search the car at that.

reply

I think the director/screenwriter did that on purpose, that way it isn't so big a coincidence that two drug dealers that know each other own the same car model ...in white!
Considering in 1999 cctv wasn't like it is now and considering the gun and trying to shoot the cop with it... They may well end up in jail like they did
