The girl, the main character of the film was extremely annoying. Talk about attitude and being a snot nosed unlikeable kid. That other kid, the boy who did his best to help her out should've gave her the back of his hand.
Plus did you catch a glimpse of that shirt she was wearing? "Egotestical?"
Ok film, enough to while away 90 minutes or so but still, could have had a more decent protaginist other than this girl, thats all.
Several things to consider:
1) She was still feeling the loss of her father.
2) Her mother left her in a strange place, so that she could run off to Europe to be with her lover.
3) She was at an awkward age.
4) She was being ignored when trying to relate her experiences with the ghosts.
5) She was still feeling guilt about her last morning with her father.
I found her quite likeable.
Nope. She was just annoying. In fact, every time the action moved away from the dead aviators, I was bored as heck. Way too much stuff on the annoying girl and way too little stuff on the ghosts. Those two guys were the truly interesting part of the story and we need a lot more on them. And didn't it seem like the little brother must have had a LOT more of a story before the movie got its final cut? They set up all this stuff about him not speaking and then did NOTHING to explain why they set it all up.
