Tracking down the titles of 'The Best of Sex + Violence'

I rented this in 1993, the night of my 16th birthday. And it could possibly be the greatest teen-age sleepover movie ever. Anyway, over the next decade, I proceeded to locate the mostly out of print titles previewed. They were all just so surreal; the funky soundtracks, the bizarro sexual shenanigans depicted; blew my mind. So odd that Charles Band (later founder of Full Moon) produced this. He probably owns the rights but... if you're familiar with his track record, this won't see the light of day.

Here's what I found (and much of it wasn't worth the effort; I'll notate what did warrant the search):

**"The Doberman Gang"- sorta amusing
**"Bury Me an Angel"- subversive feminist biker fare and only fair
****"Sweet Sugar" Own it, love it. Phyllis Davis was amazing!!!
***"The Twilight People" Odd curio for featuring young Pam Grier
****"Terminal Island" Own it, love it. Young Tom Selleck, Phyllis Davis!
****"Truck Stop Women" Own it, love it. Claudia Jennings, great montage, dir. later made "Commando"
***"Dolemite" and the other Rudy Ray Moore flicks are easy to find on DVD and worth finding.
**"Tunnel Vision" Odd, early "Kentucky Fried Movie"
*"Ebony, Ivory & Jade" pretty lame and easy to find.
**"Alice in Wonderland" Does have Kristine DeBelle's alleged hardcore sex scenes... but, not so good.
***"Cinderella" Hilarious and the music ain't bad. One of Band's better productions. Wish I had a copy!
***"Fairy Tales" On par with "Cinderella" The short-lived sex-musical sub-genre!!!
**"I Spit on Your Grave" on DVD and pretty reprehensible.
***"Tourist Trap" PG-rated weirdness.
***"Zombie" easily the most well known, on DVD
**"The Boogeyman" Not hard to find, not entirely worth finding (e.g., check out Lommel's recent work)

Can't find the others. Glad I sought those out. It was a hobby for a while.

I saw The Best Of Sex And Violence as a kid back in the early 80's, along with other compilation tapes like Filmgore(hosted by Elvira).

I like The Boogeyman and I definitely wouldn't compare it to Lommel's more recent work, I think it's his last good film. Lommel's masterpiece is the early 70's Tenderness Of The Wolves- it's hard to believe the same guy who made that is making the films he's making now.

Tunnel Vision is available on the 50 movie DVD pack- "Drive-In Classics 50 Movie Pack", I think it's very underrated, and in some ways better than the more popular Kentucky Fried Movie, IMO.

I collect dead pigeons then I press them between the pages of a book.
