Isnt there a similar scene in The Big Lebowsky when they are talking about their plan?

Nice one.
Yeah, with the Dude's landlord.

So hilarious! It had to have been a knock at Robert Wilson.

You are being sarcastic, right? Because that scene has benn done a 1000 times before. A standard device. You do know that, don't you? Dress people up so that that the audience think they are pompous.

The best thing about that scene was the look on Woody Allen's face when he awoke, looking as if he had no idea where the heck he was or what he was watching.

my personal favorite is when ray is trying to read the map in the tunnel & turns to look at denny, only to find he is wearing his miners helmet backwards.

"jesus, whaddya doin?"

"whaddya mean, what am i doin?"

"ya gotcha hat on backwards..."

"SO..."

"whaddya mean, SO. the flashlight goes in the front."

"yeah, but it looks KWOOL like dis."

"what are you, a jerk... whaddya mean it looks cooler..."

"its a lot more stylish than that, look at that..."

".... ya think so?" [turns hat around]

- Danny's not stupid because he drives a truck.

- No, stupid because he has a low IQ.

This one had me laughing out loud only 5 minutes into the movie.

For me, one of the funniest scenes is when Michael Rapaport is interviewed on TV about his great idea to advertise for cookies in the back of Hustler magazine. That look of pride on his face is hilarious.
