Also Stole From Albert Brooks's THE MUSE (1999)

In THE MUSE, a moderately amusing comedy written, directed and starring Albert Brooks, he gets inspired to write a script by the title character who also inspires his wife to start selling her homemade cookies. When the script doesn't pan out, the cookies are a hit. Same exact plot: When the robbery doesn't pan out, the cookie shop makes more than they'd have stolen.

I was reading that this stole from LARCENY INC but I haven't seen that in a while so if Brooks's movie stole from that first, well, so be it... But Woody seemed to have lifted an idea by one of his best imitators...
