Silly names

Glass? Nettles? Why do Hollywood come up with such ridiculous names for characters? I suppose "Mark Strong" and "John Stinger" are next.

Silly names have been around for a while but you're right. This movie is certainly a good example of weird names. But Seagal is all about weird names.

Above the Law: Nico Toscani, the opening dialogue says he came from Tuscuny.
Hard to Kill: Mason Storm, lol. I am not kidding.
Exit Wounds: Orin Boyd. I have heard of Boyd as a surname, but Orin is something new.
On Deadly Ground: Forrest Taft. Get it? He's Wildlife Ranger. Plus Taft ws the name of America's fattest president which makes an ironic omen for Mr. Seagal when this film came out in '94.

I think Jonathan Cold (The Foreigner) out-sillies all of those.

I've heard of Storm as a last name before. It's very rare, I'm sure, though.
