Roach's bandage?

Just caught the last half of this on tv and never really noticed his bandage until now. Is there some kind of backstory to it? Because it started bleeding during the rest of the film(starting as two nickel-sized spots that grew into a full 'band' later on).

Oh yeah, and thanks to everyone for the brownie recipes. XD

I always figured they were skateboarding injuries (he also has a band-aid on his neck)

As you can see three times in the movie, he's not the smoothest character on a skateboard (or standing on his head)

I think he cut his arm up and they made it look like he's this clumsy guy. They said something about stitches when they're in Pinky's.

Sad that he hanged himself later.

Justin Pierce sadly committed suicide before the third film could be put into production. It's possible that his bandage was pre-suicidal attempt as well as injuries made to look like his character wiped on on his skateboard.

As far as I remember the bandage was never explained. It was so random that I believe it might have been an actual injury that they made look like Roach's skating accident. A user in this board says it might have been a suicide attempt but it's very likely it was an actual skateboard accident that Justin Pierce got into.

I kept asking myself about the aid band he had on his neck and later a noticed Justin had a tattoo in that zone that read "Pierce". Maybe he got it while filmming Next Friday.
