Final Destination
Devon Sawa and Chad Donella were 20-21
Ali Larter and Seann William were 22-23
Amanda Detmer was 27-28
Kerr Smith was 26-27
Brendan Fehr was 21-22
i Think i read somewhere the actress that played blake was born in 1982 so she might have been the only actual teen in the movie
Kristen Cloke was 30-31,she played a teacher and she is not much older than some of the cast

Mary Elizabeth Windstead was 20
Ryan Merriman and Jesse Moss were 22
Amanda Crew was 18-19
Alexz Johnson was 18
Sam Easton was 25
IDK about Texas Battle some websites say he was born in 1976 and some say 1980
Gina Holden was 30
Kris Lemche was 27
Chelan Simmons was 23
Crystal Lowe was 24

I know there are is really no difference between your teens and early 20s,but i thought a lot of the cast looked their age. I know in the 3rd film the character Frankie already graduated,too me most of the cast looked like college students,even in American Pie Seann William Scott is barley believable as a teen,but their ages don't bug me

I too agree. Sometimes I wonder, are there not good enough actors/ actresses in their teens to be considered for these roles? Especially if there isn't going to be any explicit inappropriate scenes, then why not cast a real teen??

They don't have to be real teens,Final Destination is an expectation because the characters were seniors,so they start college or look for work and also some of the characters die so it is not like they need to teens for 3 films. They should not push the age thing too much i think they should hire actors 18-26 and if the actor is 27 or 28 make them seniors

There is also alot of laws about people under 18 and there work schedule. A lot of directors don't like to deal with the restraints so its just easier to cast adults

Especially in movies with low budgets since they want to finish filming as quick as possible.

Not really (though they looked a LOT more high school aged than 3's), but they all did a good job.

Actually, 3's cast was pretty solid too. Most of them just had terrible characters. Tho lol @ Gina Holden being 30

No. They were all too physically developed. Very little high-schoolers, if at all, look that awesome. Terry looked like a soccer mom. Devon was the one who looked the character's age the most.
