Wish I had her attitude sometimes
I'm always timid and shy and scared to rock the boat. Wish I had her courage and outspokenness and ability to stand up for myself.
shareSame here! I often say that to friends who are outspoken. I'm very shy and quiet in person. I mean its easy to type things out online, but in real life I'm quiet as a mouse. I have often wished I could be more outspoken. Yet I like to be positive and I'll tell you what a friend told me. The world needs those who are quiet. Quiet people tend to be good listeners and be more sentimental. She also said they are more tender hearted. They are sensitive and relate more to others. So I bet you have those qualities too. So be proud of who you are.

I stood up for myself a few weeks ago with a coworker and now everyone hates me, lol
Us quiet / kind ones are likable but not nessicarily respected. So I finally learned the key is to get these type to like you and you have a guard dog hehe. At my age I have many protectors and always come out looking like an angel... So as far as taking advantage of well 2 can play that game. Mwhaha. Nah but it all works out that way.
shareUnderstand & appreciate the comments/viewpoints of all above, BUT...you speak out,& speak up against the world of BS out there that galls you when either it's hitting/hurting someone you love,maybe more than yourself, or when you've JUST HAD the frig-E-NUF, and you've got NOTHING to lose, and everything to gain(i.e., your dignity and self respect) by just yelling out the truth that has to be told..:)! We only go 'round once that we know of, it's not a dress-rehearsal..don't let the Bast?£#s get you down! :)
