The Doors: The Soft Parade (1991)

Who has seen this video or DVD? I have not yet unfortunately however I would love it if someone out there can give me some insight on it. Let me know how good this is, please! I try and look for everything written or movies made of the Doors or Jim Morrison and I would like someone's opinion on The Soft Parade video.

Take care,

A true Doors Fan

Hey B.N.
If you are a true Doors fan this is definately a must see!!It,s a phantastic compilation, the richard Goldstien interview in wich Jim almost prophectly describes his idea of what the recording studio will be like in the future.I loved the performance of the Soft Parade(the song that is)here you get to see Jim in all his bearded glory. It like Dance on Fire is directed by Mazarek who treats the material as it should be treated almost Holy!!Yes if you are a Doors fan i advise you get out there and get it!!!

I just found "The Soft Parade" on VHS for $1.50, and it's an excellent document of a enigmatic band. To tell you the truth, I like the other Doors but don't particularly care for Jim Morrison, but this film records their place in history. The performances and news footage are priceless – or at least worth more than $1.50.
