Hi all

I read all the threads last night after searching for the Last Train and was surprised about the amount of interest.

I loved the series and was searching for DVD release news when I came across this thread.

I decided to email Granada, [email protected], last night and was very surprised to get this reply today (wasn't expecting one for at least a week):

Dear Nick

Thank you for your email regarding the 1999 television series THE LAST
TRAIN.

I have found the following website which you might find interesting and
useful as follows:-

http://www.action-tv.org.uk/guides/lasttrain.htm

As the series is not available on either vhs or DVD it may be possible
to purchase the series but it would be extremely expensive but if you
would like confirmation to purchase you could try the following:-

Once again many thanks for taking the trouble to contact ITV1.

Best wishes.

A "The Last Train" Website is going to open this year. I don't think it's official, but it's still good to know there's still a strong fan base out there.

I have the entire series here on my PC and am more than willing to burn copies for anyone who wants the series. It'll take 6 4.7Gb DVD's due to the fact that each episode is 10,000Kbps video and 48Khz@384Kbps audio.

No charge what-so-ever, just trying to be helpful. If anyone wants a copy, email me at [email protected]

Cheers :-)
