A Salute To The Big Bands (11/26/66)

Hi,

This past Sunday, March 22, 2009, I purchased a 16mm black and white kinescope print of the November 26, 1966 episode of The Jackie Gleason Show. It was a salute to The Big Bands, with Jackie's guests Duke Ellington, Count Basie, Freddy Martin, Sammy Kaye, Les and Larry Elgart, The Glenn Miller Orchestra, fronted by Buddy DeFranco and Mr. New Year's Eve himself, Guy Lombardo.

This is, without a doubt, the BEST and most AMAZING variety show assemblege of talent I've ever seen! To those of you who love Big Band music, I hope that one day, you have a chance to see this incredible episode.

Now that the color Honeymooners episodes have been released, let's ask for the non-Honeymooners episodes...with THIS one at the top of the list!!
