Petition for DVD Release

hey...i'm not sure if this will help anyone, but you can go to TVshowsonDVD.com and vote to have GvsE released on DVD. I know it's been a while since the show, but there are fans voting still, slowly but surely. It's one of those grassroots things...growing purely by word of mouth...so tell a friend...

So..go to the site... REGISTER (it's free)...and VOTE!

This show was FANTASTIC. I found this while doing a web search looking for somewhere I can buy it on DVD.

There seems to be only a small niche global market for this series, but whomever has seen it is instantly hooked. It might pay off to do a Region free DVD internet release. Those people interested in the series could just order it then from amazon or some other internet shop, that would save a bundle in promotion/shipping for the production company.

this series would do exceptionally well on dvd, considering the current popularity of science fiction and horror on television and in the movies. the problem is, they won't produce dvd sets of anything unless they are absolutely sure they will make money. this show is very genre specific, and i'm sure when it ran on usa and the sci fi channel, it's viewing demographic was very specific as well. if they do release it, they should conduct the marketing in a way that will appeal to fans of more well known genre entries like millenium, x files, and buffy, as there is a strong likelihood that devotees of those shows will at least marginally enjoy this series. another problem is that it had no real star power, rohner and brooks have been in the business for a long time, but neither one of them is even close to being well known. i say make some nice dvd box art, possibly by a surrealist or fantasy painter, and maybe even play up the faustian aspect by offering free copies of faust or similar prose fiction with the dvd. this show, brimstone, and witchblade are begging for dvd releases.
