I'm looking for info on the show

If anyone has a good enough memory, can you tell me how many times this special was repeated after the original 1979 airing? I was told that it was repeated several times and that later broadcasts cut at least one song out, particularly "When the River Meets the Sea" by John Denver and Robin the Muppet. The video version I have does not include this song and I have seen audio version listed with the song and without it, so I'm really confused.

I now understand why MY purchased DVD (amazingly good) does NOT have "When the River Meets the Sea" I, too, have the audio with the song on it. The song was always a little sad, but it spoke of justice and at the time justice was NOT what I was getting. We both must have copies of one of the LATER REBROADCASTS.

Before getting my clear DVD copy, I had a purchased ($$) a VHS copy that was blurry, almost smudged (4th or 5th generation for sure). So, I feel lucky to have a good copy. I admit, however, that I wish I had that song, oh well.

"When The River Meets The Sea" is originally from the show with the otters. It's possible that it never appears in the John Denver special, though we're lucky enough to have it on the soundtrack. Man, that song makes me cry.
