Little Saint Nick

I recently purchased a copy of the show but did not see the song "Little Saint Nick". Does anyone remember if all the songs on the original album were on the show? I was so thrilled to even find a knock off, but some of the songs were not there. Any really good memories out there?

reply

Little SAint NIck isn't on the CD either.

reply

Depends on which cd you have. Little saint nick is on the cd i have.

My family has both the record & the CD. Little Saint Nick is on both versions that we have. I know for sure because Little Saint Nick is my favorite & I'd always dance around to it ;-)

Mine has it too, but I don't get why it doesn't have "The Pleasure Of Your Company" or "Camaradarie". And why does it include "When The River Meets The Sea"? Good song, but it's from "Emmet Otter's Jug-Band Christmas"! JFTR, that little classic should have its own soundtrack!

2 versions of the cd were released, one has 10 songs and the "Special Edition" has all 13 songs from the LP. If you search you can find the S.E. Believe it or not I found my S.E. at my local grocery store during Christmas.

I found it at a party store during Christmas of 2002. It must have been the SE because it had "Little Saint Nick" and "When the River Meets the Sea". I didn't like "Nick" so I always skipped over it. I LOVED "River" so I always played it 2 or 3 times. But my favorite was "A Baby Just Like You".

The CD was re-issued a while back as a budget buy. For the sake of economy, the two most expensive performance licences were not included - Little Saint Nick being one. This is why some CD's don't have it.

Just downloaded the missing 'St Nick' and also 'Where the River Meets the Sea' from Amazon so that's a good way to restore the original album.

I listened to the music before I watched this special and was also disappointed that Camaraderie and The Pleasure of Your Company were excluded from the soundtrack. However, I have good news for all of you! Since several people were kind enough to upload this wonderful holiday feature onto YouTube, you can take their clips and convert them from video to mp3 on www.video2mp3.net/. I placed the files into my iTunes library and synced them to my iPodwith no problems. It's free and doesn't take too much time, but unless you have unlimited internet, I'd suggest doing it on campus or your local library; someplace with free access.
