I've the good fortune of obtaining a very clear copy of this dreamy film. Something of note, however minor the observation, is the use of organ music in this movie. I've heard the same other-worldly tint in other movies made behind the Iron Curtain in the 50s and 60s, somewhat like the sound in the movie Carnival of Souls. I look high and low for lost cinema and movies like this make it worth my effort. BTW, this can be bought from a seller off IOFFER, a goldmine for movie collectors.

The listing on IOFFER is not clear about English subtitles.
At the top there is "w/subs".
Further down there is "Subtitles: None".

Yes, this DVD does have subs. The seller is very reliable, I've bought there at least 6 or 7 times without any problem. Their listings are somewhat confusing but this title definitely has ESTs. Great little film, hope you enjoy it.
