Underrated

It's just one of the best american independent movie I have ever watched. I guess almost nobody has watched this film in the USA. I watched it in Spain at about 4:00 A.M on Saturday (One of the typical movie played at these hour where everyone is sleeping or over there from disco to disco)and I loved it. It makes you feel human, it shows how the life is (that's one of the positive things of the independent films), the dark side of the big cities. Has anyone else liked (or loved (even watched)) this movie? I'll hear (read) you. If you do, I recommend you some social european film. Searc for these directors:

-Fernando León de Aranoa (Los lunes al Sol/Barrio/Princesas)
-Robert Guedigian (Marius et Jeannette)
-Icíar Bollaín (Hola, estás sola?/Te doy mis ojos)
-Ken Loach (Sweet sixteen/Bread and roses/Riff-Raff/Raining stones/My name is Joe)
-Erick Zonca (La vie revée des anges)
-Achero Mañas (El bola/Noviembre)
-Peter Cattaneo (Full monty)

I agree...this movie is a little gem. I believe that people who find out about this film...word of mouth...will enjoy this...some of the reviews were so amazing...I think some people really get it and others overlook what is accomplished, this reminds me of what GREAT INDIE filmmaking is all about.

I just saw this movie the other night. It was really good. It was also really interesting to me because 2 of my brothers live in the neighborhood where it was filmed, and I actually recognized some stuff... Pretty wild.

It was way better than I thought is was going to be. I am definitely going to recommend it to friends.

Very moving, and still really funny, and extremely real.

Meh, it was nothing special and that subplot about him doing a hit for the mob is ludicrous. The mob wouldn't need a loser-nobody like this guy to whack somebody. You guys should see some better films.

Seriously. It looks like some regular guys with no experience in front of, or behind, a camera just shot this movie between their lunch breaks at Foot Locker.
