The Good Old Days

This was a great childrens drama.
I saw the first series of it(on CBBC )and I remember me and my friends rushing home every Wednesday just so we wouldn't miss the beginning.
I watched the later series' of it, but none were as impressive as the first.

Yeah I watched a repeat last night genius. The first series was damn scary, the fourth one was quite scary too what with everyone wearing those hands. All got a bit weird in the end though.

I used to always watch it, its on the CBBC channel now every day at 6.30...

Does anyone know what the actress who played Dinah is doing now??

reply

I liked the series were Dinah won that computer game and she had to go to that place to test out the "Salamander Computer Systems" and when they didn't obey they got locked in the lift with the scary hypnotic "Octopusssssss!"

The entire run needs a dvd release-it's far too good to under go the ramblings at the start and finish by those prats off the CBBC channel, the log in the corner and the squashed credits.

C'mon BBC! get tha' finger out!

Does anyone have photos of it? Or Any of the actors now? plzzzzzz

I've just downloaded the first two series', It's absolutely amazing. I didn't remember it being this good. The earliest thing I can remember about it is Me practically yelling at my mum "Hurry up! I'm going to miss The Demon Headmaster!". Wow. I have memories from when I was six.

The Demon Headmaster is a wonderful series. This is the best series I have ever watched.

this was brilliant when I was a kid, it really scared me!
Bit strange now the headmaster is playing a gay boyfriend in 'Worst week of my life'... :|

I use to love watching this too! I was 13 when it first started. I'd always rush home from school to watch it whenever it was on, I taped a few episodes, not sure if I still have them somewhere... Hope I do, I'd love to watch it again. The BBC should show it again, as well as many other classic childrens shows from the past instead of showing all this new CRAP! lol
