Help

Does anyone know of a TV series that came out maybe 5 years before this that was similar. All I can remember is there were prefects who had blonde hair and/or white eyes and they may have been controlled by a computer. It terrified me because I was that much younger. Dont know if it was BBC 1 or channel 3.
