I saw this on TV (IFC, probably) in either 2000 or 2001, and have wondered if it will ever be released on DVD.
I really don't remember it that well, but I do remember laughing about it for about a week after seeing it.
My hopes are low, but any information would be most appreciated.
I don't think it's going to be released on dvd any time soon. I was fortunate enough to record it on one of its airings (IFC or Sundance Channel I think) and converted it to dvd. It is a great movie.
shareThat's sad. I just saw this movie on IFC today and I really liked it. Great characters, acting was good, story was funny... It had it all as a buddy comedy in a Clerks type way. It really saddens me to see that I can't buy this movie on DVD.

shareI agree with all of you. I caught the last hour of is on IFC today, and MAN.. I laughed my ass off the whole time. It had a Family Guy quality to it, with the flashbacks and what not.

I visited Savannah, GA last weekend and while out at dinner had a charming waiter named William Dozier who shared that his movie was coming out on DVD in May 2009. So there is hope!
