Funny flick
I just saw this on television. It was funny, and definitely one of those quirky comedies that you either like or hate. It had a big '90s vibe and I was surprised to find out that it came out in 2000.

sharelol so did i! i watched it on tv also. it thought it looked like it came out of 93 or 94 or somethin but it was a mellenium movie
share"Hey buddy" I love this movie, it's so funny and orginal, and I love the fact that it is a true story. Why can't they release this onto dvd, there are so many movies like this that deserve a dvd release.
sharei was thinking it was 90's flick also.
they looked like Yuppies lol.
but then you have to realize this is a take
of their lives, so its likely they married
Margo (or whatever her realname is) during the early 90's
this movie was solid on comedy, and the cuts and camera
timing were great.

This Aint No Fanboard!
oohs i says aints!
Yeah they were definitely trying to recreate the early 90's Cali/Jersey guys. They did a good job and they should have. They were playing themselves. Also it was very low budget, so it LOOKED like a comedy of the early 90's. Reminded me of Clerks a bit, or an early Kevin Smith bit. That's probably why it didn't do well in the year 2000. It didn't have a budget over 100Gs. It sucks this movie isn't on DVD and probably never will be. I'd buy it in a heartbeat. IFC is my favorite channel just because of movies like this I'd never see otherwise.
shareThe thing I wonder about is how they got the celebrity cameos for such a low budget. I mean, this movie isn't even rated by the MPAA.
I have no taste, but that just means there's less of a chance that I'll get eaten
there are many celebs who are willing to have bit parts in low budget movies.
some say they do it free, others get some kind of one time pay.

IMDB...its not fanboard
It was cute. To me, it was one of those movies that seemed like a long sitcom episode.

it really reminds me of the comedies in the late late 80's and early 90's, like Men at Work, Shrimp on the Barbie, UHF, it had that feel to it,really just a 1990-91 feel to it.
