New Line Cinema basically signed Zac Efron to star in a big screen vehicle and it was this movie that they plagurized for it to be his "first movie outside of HSM". How sad. His movie "Seventeen Again", is a complete ripoff, not even CHANGING THE TITLE! If I was Tia, Tamera, or Tahj Mowry, I would sue New Line Cinema and the other makers of this movie.

But this movie WILL still be better - the Mowry twins have far more charm and likeablity factor than Zac does, the only reason why Zac has so many fans is because of one thing and it sure isn't his acting ability is it?
sharewell this new movie 17 again is different from the old. in seventeen again, grandparents turn back into 17 year old bodies by a chemical accident. in this, a middle aged man somehow becomes his 17 year old self too fix mistakes he made when he was that age.
also, if you pay close attention to hollywood these days, you will see that most of these movies are exactly the same for the exception of the title...most of the time...but i very much doubt that anyone will be sueing considering the fact that it is not the same movie, just similar aspects.

Has anyone actually seen the 17 Again with Zac Efron? It's good and I like it a lot but both movies are good. It's pretty similar, especially with the partying scenes and the fact that both have a sex education scene.

i 100% agree with terminatorfan on this one, its like the two new movies no strings attached and friends with benifits, they have the exact same plot! there are sooo many movies with the same title or the same plot!

shareI know I've seen quite a few movies that tried to bite off Ferris Bugeler Day Off. I never seen Zac Effron's 17 Again, but I love Tia & Tamera version and Tahj version. They just brought the movie out and made it appealing.

Movies are remade or copied all the time...no big deal. If you don't want to watch a copy or remake then don't...don't sweat the small stuff...it causes wrinkles LOL.
