I just picked this game up, but got a problem...

I just got this game, found it in good quality and for $33 AU. So I reckon I got a bargain.

The game works fine on my PS2 and all, but I have one problem, it doesn't detect the memory card that's inserted. The only two reasons for this I can forsee is that My memory card is a tad full, or that I need a PS1 memory card in order to save the game.

Anyone know if that's the case? I'd like to get a reply quickish as it's supposed to be a chrissy present for my girlfriend, and if I need a PS1 memory card, I could probably get one.

yeah, for the ps2 memory cards, they won't recognize the save data from ps1 games, so you would need a ps1 memory card :). It should work out for ya. enjoy the game, it's AWESOME

I had the same problem. I tried it on the ps2 memory card until I read that you needed a ps1 memory card for it like the previous poster said. Hope you'll be able to find one easily its well worth it. Awesome game.
