That thing in the wheelchair...

I think I've already mentioned this before, but I couldn't remember.

But if you remember when you're at the end of the game and you confront Dahlia and Alessa, sitting between them, who or what is that thing that's in the wheelchair wrapped around in bloody rags and bandages in the wheelchair? I've been wondering who it was or what it was, but couldn't figure it out, and it CREEPS me out as much as anything else in the game.

Anyone know this? Or have any idea?
