The un-edited version.


I have seen 2 versions of this film. The one that is currently available on DVD (used to be available on VHS) and the version that was shown on TV when it first aired.

The TV version is slightly longer and some scenes have different dialogue from the one released on DVD and video.

ive got the original version on an old betamax tape that my father recorded back in the early 80s .ive seen the available version and noticed that some of the characters are dubbed.il need to get hold of a betamax machine to play the old tape again though.the dvd was still great to watch though alot of the scenes were filmed where i stay in glasgow the pub at the begining has been knocked down

kool so there is a sense of freedom dvd out then?? where was the pub? the gorbils? iam from glasgow myself love ALL glasgow films.

aye they sell copys of it down at paddys market for a about 4pounds they also have a dvd with just a boys game and just another satuday on the same disk which is good because those 2 films have never been released in any form.the pub used to be up at springburn its long gone now though.its all set in the gorbals but there was quite alot of it filmed in springburn

aye its easy to download the availabile version on bit torrent sites but its the original version which was only ever showen on itv once back in 1982 which is very very rare the downloadable version your talking about is the dubbeb *beep* version
