probably gonnaget the book, but at the end, they give him a bit of freedom in his cell bym and he seems to be calm, like the moral is

But its kind of corny, i'm pretty sure if you read the book there is more of anplnation, cos up to this point in the film, jimmy is one vicious *beep* who shows no signs of ever being nice to authority.
