I haven't seen the film but have very nearly finished the book (bout 10 pages left) and it is a fascinating read. I have seen Scum and that has to be one of the best films ever. Is it as good?

"freedom" is a great movie but i don't know if it's the BEST british gangster film ever. for one thing i think "get carter" is probably the best and i'm not sure freedom is really a gangster film but more of a prison film which it definately is one of the best of.

Not the best gangster movie ever. Not sure if its supposed to be a gangster film.

In fact its a study of a violent man and his relationship with prisons.

Its that man again!!
