region 2 dvd coming out October 2015

lots of talk here about how the dvd of this has been either unavailable or only available in a dodgy dubbed version.

Amazon UK are selling a new region 2 dvd of this from October 2015.

I am watching a second hand copy of the 2006 ANCHOR BAY dvd.

I saw this on tv in 1979,it was a sensation.
Due to the film,actually a tv film and his book that it was based on Boyle became a huge celebrity in Scotland.

So it is surprising it has taken so long to produce what I assume will be a remastered dvd.
The one from 2006 has no subtitles or extras.

Look at the credits on this Peter Mcdougall the writer of several BBC plays from the same period,directed by John McKENZIE,music by RORY GALLAGHER and FRANKIE MILLER.
