I only know Mitch H. and I don't know anything about Dave Atell.
I have not seen the movie (currently looking for it) but if it's Mitch then it has to be good. And check out Dave Atell, he does a show on comedy central call insomniac, and his stand up its outrageous.
shareI just saw this last night at a tribute to Mitch in Austin. Mitch fans will love it - you can tell he wrote every word and half of it would fit perfectly into his standup routines. It's very obvious that not a lot of money or experience went into it, but it's still hilarious. Very quirky.
Brian Malow (one of the actors in the movie and a good friend of Mitch) was the emcee at the screening, and Mitch's wife and parents were also there. They said they're working to get it released on DVD, so hopefully something will happen soon.
I was at the Austin screening- it's very "Mitch." If you're a fan you'll like it a lot.
You're not going to find any copies of it anywhere until it gets an official release, which hopefully it will soon.
Also, you can check out some clips from the movie at MitchHedberg.net- or at the video clips section of this page. One scene has Attel and one has Todd Barry. It'll give you a feel for the movie.
