Thank you. Loved this movie as a kid. Wish the print on the DVD was more vibrant and not so muddy looking.

Yes, the DVD really sucks, no doubt because the film is deteriorate. The movie was an important advance in model animation. I'd hope that someone like Tim Burton, who is so into model animation, could throw a few bucks towards having it properly restored.

Thanks. This was the first movie I saw as a little boy in a movie theatre. It must have been 1955. The whole experience was wondrous and rather frightening.
