Actually, some of the choices were good...Dylan McDermott and Randy Travis were excellent...James Van Der Beek was decent. Ashton Kutcher gave one of the worst performances I will never forget.

reply

I haven't seen the movie yet... but from the front cover I think the choices are... odd...

I never heard of this movie. I came across the picture with the caption "Ashton Kutcher, James Van Der Beek, Dylan McDermott and Usher Raymond star in "Texas Rangers"" and I lmao!!!! I thought it was a joke!! It must have really stank for me to have never heard of it.

The whole time i watched this movie i thought of Dawson Creek and That 70s show...
I think that James Van Der Beek and Ashton Kutcher where awfull in this movie, they are just not good actors. Maybe they should stick to making tv-series....

And i think Usher should keep to his music.....!!!!!

Im curious if the guy/girl who cast this movie still have a work.....???

I didn't want to watch this movie but my brother talked me into it. I liked, in fact I'll probably buy it.

reply

Watch Rules of Attraction and then just try to tell me that James Van Der Beek is a bad actor.

Young Guns was pretty good though and violent(actually had an R rating) unlike this pathetic, safe drivel. They didn't want to alienate Dawson's Creek fans and make it like a true Western. And how did they put Usher and Ashton in this? Didn't they know that Dawson was enough? Hilarious, of course I haven't seen this yet but I really am looking forward to it!

You are so right on, as a Native Texan I hate that this dog has the Name "TEXAS RANGERS" on it, And I live in Waco which is the Headquarters for the Texas Rangers, I wonder what they think of this crappy movie., one of the worst casting jobs I have ever seen for any film.

reply

The *beep* piece of casting I have even seen was epitomised by Rachel Leigh Cooke oh my god it was difficult trying to tell the difference between her acting and the scenery the few scenes she was in were too many

This movie is so bad and it just got worse and worse. What a joke. If the real Texas Rangers were this stupid the Republic of Texas wouldn't have lasted 45 minutes. Who in the hell wrote this mess, and how did anybody git it financed. Maybe it was supposed to be some sort of comedy. A comedy of errors. Come to think of it, it is so bad parts did make me laugh. As a Texan and proud of it, I do wish they'd change the title. Maybe Keystone Rangers? or Blazing Saddle Rangers?
