Van Damme's DTV's over Seagals/Snipes'

these 3 are pretty much in the same market now, 3 guys who were once huge stars who put out 3-4 straight to video releases are year now. Don't ask me why, but i make myself sit through all of 'em.

and i gotta say, of the 3 Van Damme's are easily the best...at least Van Damme's have an element of fun about them. Seagal's take themselves way too seriously and Snipes just sleepwalks through his.

heck Van Damme's past few movies (In Hell, Wake of Death) were actually pretty f'n solid.

Van Damme the king of DTV!

Wait. Not so fast. Urban Justice was awesome. Pistol Whipped is ever better than UJ. I will admit. In Hell was amazing, and Wake of Death was pretty dope too.

What about Until Death !?

One of 2007's best movies!

Have to say that this movie was very underrated. Though it was not perfect it certainly was a well acted film. Van Damme played one of his best dramatic roles.

What about dolph lungern hes also in the dtv business

He should've played more rock numbers throughout his Command Perfomance, because it's otherwise a really boring movie. Like after dispatching a couple of guys should've picked up a guitar and strum Louie Louie or something.

VD's movies are entertaining I'll give you that. More so than the others especially Seagal. Seagal's output over the last ten years has been dysmall and get worse with each release. Snipes' movies are very half-baked. They have good ideas and concepts and the action starts out good but half way through his movies lose steam and seem to give up. My main complaints in these guys' movies are that there's never enough fight action and the stories become nonsensical. But I think VD tries harder. His acting has gotten better (at least for an action star) and he shows a little more dimension.

this movie is entertaining and its done by the same dudes who done The Expendables off course everybody knows

Yeah Van Damme's movies always had a certain likeable charm and energy to them, that the other two lack.

Even in the DTV era, JCVD is still above the rest.
