I know it's quite a stretch, but...

...man, I feel dumb for just thinking this...

...maybe it's not supposed to be an action film?

I know, I know...I'll just be on my way now.

Its not an action film its a drama. Also the film had alot of action a shoot out in the beginning the middle and the end. It was emotionality driven and skipping through the movie and missing out on learning about the characters ruins the entire film. Its about story and what is action worth with out strong emotions to back them?

Yeah man. I agree. Who needs character development and story? The whole film should have just been a bunch of guys in armour shooting at people while everything explodes for 102 minutes.

That would be boring also because explosions gets boring after 5 minutes.

That been said, I agree with the OP that this film was boring as hell. The dull animation, brownish overtones, stiff characters, and excessive meaningless chat scenes all contributed.

Then you're either not into that kind of movies or you guys didn't get the story. It's not that easy when you got used to not so boring animes with a lot of explosions and stuff. Try something with more of your standards.

The whole movie was boring, visually with the overuse of dull colors, the monotonous dialogue, the dull characters all contribute to that and its not just from the lack of explosions.

Failure to attract the viewers is what makes a film boring. The film could be about anything really and not be boring as long as the film maker has enough skills to attract their viewers. Hell I watched a film called Kpax where the whole movie just involved a bunch of people talking in a room. That's it, no explosions, armor, chainguns or anything, yet somehow that was vastly more exciting and satisfying than this movie.

But somehow this can't be possible because everyone who didn't like this movie either didn't "get" it or that they're not "used" to movies with no explosions right?
