Will there ever be a UK release!!!???

Still no UK release on DVD, why? Anyone heard if it will ever see the light of day over here. The US 3-Disc is very expensive so a UK release would ease the pain a little.

Who (if anybody) holds the distribution rights in the UK?
Looking on the BBFC website confirms that it has never been submitted.
Considering the large amount of rubbish anime's that are released in the UK, why has this classic never been released?

Checking up on this yesterday I was hoping that Manga Entertainment would have picked it up so I wouldn't have to import it all the way from the US (I live in Sweden), but no luck :( We should mail them and tell them to distribute this wonderful film as they are prone to making great releases A/V and packaging-wise.

Anyway, I'm probably going to import this from the US anyway. The new special edition contains everything that the original SE did except a slip-cover, and it only costs about 20$. At least that's the way I've understood it :O

Just buy the DVD from amazon.com, they'll ship anywhere in the world, though with a little added cost. With the fact that the SE of Jin-Roh costs a LOT less than when it was originally released, it's well worth it.

Besides, the UK had the only DVD release of The Last Unicorn for years before it was released on DVD in the US, so a lot of people own the UK edition of the DVD for just this reason.

It's out August 20th 2007 in the UK!!!

Looks like the DTS track and making of from some of the other editions are missing, which is a shame.
