Ever seen Au Hazard Balthazar?

Watched Au Hazard Balthazar, the story of how people treat a donkey and the effect their actions toward the donkey have on their life (although I must admit I will need to watch Balthazar again to make sure that's what is really happening). Three movies came to mind: 1. The Red Violin and 2. Run Lola Run and 3. Stardom.

Does this sound strange?

I saw Au Hazard Balthazar which I cried throughout. Also saw Stardom and Run Lola Run.

I actually hated Stardom. I found it quite boring to be honest. I had no sympathy for Tina. Sure, people didn't care to listen to her since she was just a pretty face, but she could have ended it at any point! Could a donkey do that? RLR was good, but overrated.

I understand the comparisons between all the movies.
